Global Network Services: 4 to 1 difference in prices paid by MNCs

The market for global network services is very imperfect. Nobody pays list price, every contract is individually negotiated. The average price reduction between the chosen supplier's initial bid and the final agreed price is 40%. No multi-national companies (MNC) knows what other MNCs are paying. The net result is an extraordinary 4 to 1 difference between the highest and lowest prices paid by European MNCs for the main comparable elements of their global network services contracts.
