Procurement Leaders Awards 08
After the success of last year’s inaugural event we’re proud to announce the second Procurement Leaders Awards ceremony to be held on 21st May 2008 – the largest pan-European event of its kind!
It has been another successful and challenging year for procurement, and what better way to celebrate than by recognising and rewarding the efforts of some of the most innovative and creative business leaders in the marketplace today.
Alongside the five awards on offer at last year’s event, we’re also announcing the creation of another category – The Award for the Best Cross-Function Project – an award that we firmly believe reflects procurement’s growing importance in the corporate agenda.
Casting their eye over what we once again expect to be a high-class field of nominations will be an independent panel of eight judges, each of whom is recognised as a leading figure within the procurement industry. We would once again like to thank them for their participation and wish them luck with the unenviable task of drawing up a shortlist.
The venue for the 2008 Awards will be one of the UK's most iconic venues. Situated in the North West of the London, Lords cricket ground has been home to some of the sport’s greatest stars for over 200 years. Now it gets the opportunity to play host to some of the biggest names in European procurement.
Of course, the evening is about far more than recognising the efforts of those involved in procurement - it is a celebration of everything that’s good in the industry, and a rare opportunity to mix and network with your peers from across the continent in a memorable setting.
Add to that fine food and wine and I’m sure you’ll agree that it promises to be quite an occasion - we’re looking forward to seeing you there.
