A focused programme to provide procurement leaders with fundamental financial tools and techniques to become a credible and valued strategic business partner.

 

As Procurement professionals strive to become business partners it is critical that they understand financial statements, can assess the financial health of suppliers and are able to construct and criticise business cases, including department budgets. Procurement professionals have the responsibility to fully understand the supply base they are responsible for, in particular the supply chain risks that would arise from the financial failure of suppliers.
