Boyce to fill Royal Mail post
Royal Mail Group has announced the appointment of a new director of group procurement.
Richard Boyce, the company’s former head of procurement operations, will be taking up the role from former procurement chief Ninian Wilson, who was made director of operations for Royal Mail Letters back in September.
Mr Boyce will take a seat on the Royal Mail Letters Board and will overseas the group’s £2.4 billion annual spend across three business units; Royal Mail Letters; Post Office Ltd; and Parcelforce Worldwide.
“I am delighted to take up the role of Director of Procurement at Royal Mail Group at such an exciting point in the company's history,” he said.
“The Group is undertaking a major change programme and the ongoing contribution of Group Procurement to that transformation is recognised both internally and more widely in the procurement industry.”
