Ford opens door to new Asia Pacific procurement chief
Wellman will now oversee purchasing and supply management across the company's operations in the region.
Wellman, a former procurement head of non-production commodities and services globally at Ford, will report to John Parker, executive vice president, Asia Pacific and Africa, and Raj Nair, the company's new vice president of operations.
Nair will assume responsibility for product development, manufacturing, purchasing, quality and information technology.
"The addition of Raj and Jeff to our APA leadership team, and their respective contributions, will be critical to driving the successful and ongoing expansion of our operations in the region," said Parker.
"Each brings an extensive resume of experience and knowledge within [Ford], and I'm confident their leadership will be a key ingredient in the overall future direction of our business."
