Outsourcing
Outsourcing, or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), is at the top of many corporate agendas in today's economy. With a focus on core competencies, more and more companies are outsourcing human resources, IT, procurement and other key business functions in order to reduce fixed costs, streamline and improve performance.
Forrester Research estimates that by 2015 Europe will take a central role in outsourcing and is expected to reach nearly 25 per cent of total global outsource spending.
Procurement plays a central role in any outsourcing agreement. From selecting an outsourcing provider to negotiating the final contract, procurement must understand every aspect of the deal and its financial impact on the organisation.

CPO Talk: From today’s challenges to tomorrow’s opportunities
In the rapidly changing procurement environment, it is important to identify and understand trends and to look across industry borders and beyond procurement. With tight economic conditions, and even greater resolve to move their organisations forward through these difficult times, procurement professionals face more and more challenges.
Best of Breed Multi-Vendor Outsourcing
Outsourcing is a critical business strategy employed by many companies with varying degrees of success. Today, organisations are moving away from a sole-provider solution in favor of multi-source engagements. Outsourcing certain IT and other business functions to multiple specialist providers can result in improved cost savings and accountability, greater services expertise, and the ability to focus internal resources on the business elements and functions that drive competitive advantage.
