Global talent shortage makes mockery of claim
A global talent shortage is making a mockery of the claim that Indian companies are stealing jobs in the West - that's the view of Azim Premji, the chairman of Wipro.
Premji claimed that Indian businesses were moving into developed countries that did not have sufficient skilled graduates to compete in the global economy.
"What is of concern is how serious a shortage of technical talent is building up in the western world," he said.
"Global companies are going to where not enough young boys and girls are getting into math, science and engineering. That trend is not being reversed."
