Bexar region of Texas, US upgrades supply chain systems

The US County of Bexar in Texas has selected new technology to optimise its supply chain management. The upgrade, which will see applications from Lawson Professional Services rolled out, aims to help the county automate financial reporting, streamline procurement and improve operational efficiency. Lawson Professional Services will be responsible for the provision of the implementation of the services for the project.

Supply chain company QLogitek buys High-Tech Consulting

B2B supply chain company QLogitek is to purchase High-Tech Consulting Inc., a global provider of IT services. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed but QLogitek's CEO said it was undertaken to allow QLogitek to go "back to its roots" of providing IT services and consulting.
