Deregulated electricity offers US firms 'substantial savings'
Recent research has revealed that the ongoing deregulation of the US electricity industry can help procurement make substantial savings. The research was carried out by business advisory and advocacy law specialists McDonald Hopkins.
Renegotiation of procurement contracts has helped Santander UK to reduce its retail banking administrative expenses by £63m from £680m to £617m in the six months ended 30 June 2010, like for like.
