Dr Ian George
Programme Lead, Procurement Leaders
Ian George has extensive experience in technical and managerial roles across many business sectors and has a PhD in leading the implementation of transformation programmes. Ian’s early career was spent in BMW Group as part of a supplier development resource within Group Procurement, based in the UK and then the US. Later in his career Ian was Head of Procurement Strategy and Process Development at Royal Phillips Electronics in the Netherlands. He was responsible for designing new strategies and processes including follow-up implementation support to the divisional leadership teams. Ian is currently Programme Lead focusing on the transformation of procurement and supply management within the context of the wider enterprise.

Eva Milko was most recently responsible for the global marketing and commercial sourcing, in addition to the design and implementation of critical procurement activities at Molson Coors. She is an experienced change agent with proven ability in cost control, programme management, process improvements and new product/programme introductions.

Jamie Foster’s role at Hitachi Rail focuses on strategic and operational procurement across 5 new build site to support the delivery of the new express trains to the UK. Jamie has over 20 years of procurement experience and has previously held the position of Global Procurement Director at ESAB Holdings.

Matt Davies has nearly 20 years’ experience of designing and delivering finance training and development for senior managers around the world. Among his clients are manufacturing companies Lafarge, JCB, IAC Group, RPC and Wienerberger. Matt also co-runs the 2-day ‘Commercial Awareness’ module of the National Skills Academy for Nuclear programme, which is a module in which ‘Supply Chain Management’ is an important feature. Awarded a Teaching Excellence and The Teacher of the Year Awards for his work at Aston Business School, Matt has also contributed to the development of several MBA, MSc and Executive Programs
