Gerd Kerkhoff - Kerkhoff Consulting
After his study in business administration in Essen, Gerd Kerkhoff, born in 1958, joined the management of the coffee-roasting establishment Hubert Tempelmann in Dorsten, where he worked till 1999. As sales and marketing head, Kerkhoff was responsible for the strategy to expand the sales with low prices.
In 1987, together with his partner Hubert Tempelmann, he started to trade in branded articles between retailers and to accept consultancy mandates for the procurement function of companies.
In 1999, he and his wife Stefanie set up the present Kerkhoff Consulting GmbH, which focused on procurement. Since 2004, the consultancy firm has been expanding internationally. Today, the company is present in ten locations in eight countries and employs around 260 people all over the world.
