It takes two: Converging product development and procurement helps companies achieve high performance
As part of our ongoing media program, I am pleased to attach a recent article by Manuel Chaure and Pedro Castaño placed in the "European Leaders in Procurement" (ELP) magazine.
The article was featured in the April issue of the publication and outlines our views on product development and how this area can be effectively addressed by supply chain executives. The article refers to recent Accenture surveys as well as pinpointing some of the key aspects of innovation and product development.
This is the second in our series of articles (in the Feb/March issue we placed a piece on the topic of supplier relationship management). Look out for further features in the ELP publication over the coming year.
