Barbara Kux to leave Philips
Philip’s chief procurement officer Barbara Kux will leave the Dutch electronics giant at the end of September following five years in the role, Procurement Leaders can reveal.
Kux, who joined as CPO in 2003 was promoted to the group management committee in October of the same year. She was ranked by Fortune magazine as the 19th most powerful woman in global business during 2007.
A spokeswoman for Philips told Procurement Leaders that Kux was leaving Philips on 30 September and returning to her native Switzerland for personal reasons. “We very much regret to confirm that because she had been a great servant,” the spokeswoman said.
