New supply chain chief at Estee-Lauder
Beauty conglomerate Estee-Lauder has appointed Gregory Polcer as executive vice president of its global supply chain.
Polcer, who leaves his job as senior vice president of supply chain at Unilever, will oversee Estee Lauder’s end-to-end supply chain including procurement, manufacturing, quality assurance and logistics. He will report to Estee Lauder’s president and chief operating officer Fabrizio Fredo.
"Greg's unique combination of supply chain, finance and category management experience will be invaluable as we increase efficiencies and enhance our operating effectiveness,” said Fredo. “I am confident that Greg will be a key contributor in improving our global processes to help the Company execute its long-term strategy to deliver sustained, profitable growth.”
Polcer succeeds Malcolm Bond who retires.
