PSA opens door to joint procurement venture
According to French magazine, Challenges, PSA is considering pooling the procurement capabilities of its twin Peugeot and Citroen brands.
The move, which the company is yet to confirm, follows the departure of former Citroen boss Gilles Michel, and could form part of a larger management reshuffle, which would also incorporate the combining of promotional activity and overseas units.
Figures released by the French auto manufacturers' association CCFA earlier this week claimed that car sales plummeted by 15.8 per cent in December, although PSA's sales remained relatively robust.
