Supply chain management key to Palm
Mobile technology company Palm has put the development of its supply chain and supply chain management at the top of its list of priorities as it continues to develop new technology.
Chief executive Jon Rubinstein said that execution is key to his company's success - including "great sales and marketing and back office functions". But, critically, Rubinstein pointed to "operational excellence in our supply chain management" as being a key competitive differentiator moving forwards.
"We've been in this business for years," said Rubinstein. "We have long-established industry relationships and we've successfully brought mobile products to market for over a decade."
