Emptoris enjoys record growth
The US firm recorded annual sales growth of 83 per cent last year, brought about via four consecutive quarters of improving figures.
Furthermore, the numbers far exceeded the average ten per cent growth recorded for the entire supply and contract management software market, according to Forrester Research.
"Companies clearly have a need for a very capable integrated sourcing suite and sophisticated enterprise contract management," commented Avner Schneur, the chief executive officer of Emptoris.
"Our growth was fuelled by having industry leading solutions, delivered as either a service or installed on customers' premises.
He added that the company's software allows the customer to migrate easily from one model to another.
As reported by ELP, the company enjoyed fourth quarter sales growth of 185 per cent compared with a year earlier and is expected to be worth more than $3 billion by next year.
