4C succeed for the fourth time
4C Associates and AstraZeneca fought off tough competition to win the Award for "Best use of Technology" at the prestigious Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) Excellence Awards ceremony last month.
The Award was presented at London's Grosvenor House Hotel, in front of a record audience of 1200 procurement professionals. It is the fourth that 4C have won with their clients in as many years.
Other short-listed 'procurement technology' entries included GlaxoSmithKline, the Home Office Commercial Directorate, OGC Buying Solutions and Yell UK.
This Award recognises the successful implementation of 4C's professional services procurement technology, Pro4C, within AstraZeneca. Pro4C - branded "SmartSourcing" at AZ - is a web-based solution that enables large organisations to consistently optimise value in professional services procurement by optimising price, performance and process.

This is the fourth CIPS Award won by 4C in partnership with their clients. Over the past three years they have also won:
