Anna-Marie Heywood, Country IT Commodity Manager for UK & Ireland, describes how Procurement Leaders keeps Siemens abreast of the latest developments in the procurement world.


Few major companies can boast such a long and successful history as engineering and technology services giants Siemens.

Founded in 1847, the firm provides innovative solutions to companies in sectors as diverse as energy, infrastructure, manufacturing and healthcare.

Headquartered in Germany, Siemens’ global operations currently stretch over 190 countries and employs more than 400,000 people. In 2012 Siemens saw revenues of over $78 billion. In the UK the company employs over 13,500 people, and the company has a strong manufacturing presence with 13 factories alongside a strong and growing renewable energy presence.

Anna-Marie Heywood is Country IT Commodity Manager for the UK and Ireland branch of Siemens. For Anna-Marie, Procurement Leaders membership gives her and her team access to the research and analysis they need in the formats that suit them.
