Procurement Leaders™ is delighted to announce that Tom Linton, chief procurement and supply chain officer at Flex, has taken over the role as chairman of its Customer Advisory Board.
The Customer Advisory Board is comprised of 14 global chief procurement officers (CPOs) from progressive client companies in each region. In the past year alone, they have impacted some of Procurement Leaders’ biggest initiatives such as the: Supplier-Enabled Innovation Center (SEIC), Procurement Transformation Accelerator™ (TA), Ovation, Women Procurement Leaders, Procurement Leaders Quarterly (PLQ), as well as being key speakers, facilitators and World Procurement Awards judges.
Reflecting on the new Board, Nandini Basuthakur, Procurement Leaders’ CEO said “Our Advisory Board act as a sounding board for the company’s initiatives and as thought-partners for our future direction. I am simply delighted to have someone as experienced and passionate as Tom in the chair role”.
Tom Linton has a career spanning three decades in global supply chain and procurement in multiple geographies. He won the Lifetime Achievement Award this year at the World Procurement Awards and has widely published articles in pre-eminent journals such as The Harvard Business Review. His new book The LIVING Supply Chain: The Evolving Imperative of Operating in Real Time, which he co-authored with renowned academic Dr. Robert Handfield, evangelizes the notion of "live, fast and intelligent" through digitisation.
