The Procurement Leaders Salary Survey 2018 has found that procurement salaries have decreased year-on-year at all levels.
This downward trend will affect the overall competitiveness of the function as it seeks to attract talent.
The survey did however find that those who had worked outside the function for more than a decade command higher salaries than their peers who lack this broader experience.
To buck this trend procurement professionals across the board need to understand the skills they need to develop in order to boost their salaries.
