An agenda designed around driving value creation and visibility

The carefully-curated agenda offers a unique balance between high level strategic conversations and category-led discussions, ensuring there is value for both strategic individuals and those operating on a more tactical level, implementing such strategies and solutions on the ground.

The agenda on Day 1 starts with a holistic view at how category management should be re-imagined to enhance value beyond savings; how indirect procurement professionals can make a shift in perception and earn a seat at the stakeholders’ table as well as taking supplier management to the next level.

These panel discussions are alternated with deep dive category led discussions, either round tables or streams, allowing strategic conversations as well as analysis of the different metrics that companies have developed to show value beyond cost savings.

We then finish Day 1 with a provocative panel that will question whether the term “indirect” is too old-fashioned to mirror how businesses work now and what a modern structure should look like.

Day 2 is focused on two main different pillars and types of metrics: technology and talent. We will explore the role played by digitalisation, AI, machine learning and automation in making the indirect procurement function more agile and what it means in terms of value for the business. We will look into how technology and efforts to shift perception have profoundly changed the way procurement looks at talent and what it means in practice when it comes to attracting and retaining specific types of professionals.

Day 2 concludes with another type of metric, sustainability, another tangible metric that can help the indirect procurement function in their mission to prove value beyond cost savings.
