What if an efficient relationship between CFOs and CPOs would bring additional margin? In a context of accelerated cycles and increased pressure on performance requirements, the collaboration of Finance and Procurement departments is key. Nevertheless, there is often a feeling of mutual incomprehension mainly due to a lack of visibility, transparency and missing common governance rules. This study is based on Finance and Purchasing Managers perception regarding their relationships, quality of exchanges, joint initiatives, management and reporting tools used. Seven levers have been identified to improve the relationship between these two partners.
