Procurement Leaders™ successfully launches Academy and Mini MBA

Mar 2013 - Following months of development, the first Procurement Leaders Academy course took place in London during March with procurement executives from around the world in attendance.


The Mini MBA for Procurement was created to meet the needs of high-potential procurement executives, and featured a five-day programme developed by leading practitioners and academics with decades of procurement experience between them.


The course is specifically designed for executives working within or alongside the procurement function. Taking place in a classroom style format, it delivers the main modules of a conventional MBA programme – from finance, marketing and strategy to leadership and change management.


Ultimately it helps high-potential procurement talent to develop the function’s value proposition while providing the necessary toolkit to take it to the next level.


Commenting on the launch, Procurement Leaders CEO Alex Martinez said, "We know our community has a thirst for knowledge, and the Mini MBA offers an extremely efficient way of learning from both seasoned professionals, academics and peers."


The inaugural London event will be followed by similar sessions in Boston, Singapore and Miami.
